Encinitas Residence (2016)

This project was a new residence in the heart of Encinitas. Due to complicated geological and jurisdictional site restraints, the design process was key to keeping the project moving forward and meeting all associated hurdles to break ground. Despite these hurdles, the main goal of the client to locate the building higher up on the site to bring in expansive views was not compromised. After a literal uphill battle of placing the building, the project incorporated the latest sustainable practices and methods to ensure energy efficiency and a healthy living environment for its occupants. Built with a bold look and layout the project stands as a testament to well thought out design.
