Description: The mixed-use Renaissance project occupies a full city block in downtown San Diego bounded by Front and First, Market and G. The development consists of (2) 24 story residential towers with a total of 228 units; 7 commercial (retail) spaces at street level; and 4 levels of the subterranean garage. The towers offer diverse floor plans, which include one and two-story condominiums, penthouses and townhomes. This forensic project included extensive reconstruction and repairs to roofing, waterproofing, and fenestration assemblies. Adam Rohrbaugh coordinated and observed water testing of building envelope assemblies, then prepared details and specifications for the repairs to planters, plaza deck, and various balcony waterproofing assemblies; window and door flashings, and roofing systems, including mechanical equipment integration with the building envelope.
